In this session, Canadian journalist and researcher Aphrodite Salas invites audiences into a transformative encounter through storytelling and film. Her work centers on collaborating with Indigenous climate leaders in the North. But everything shifted in the Arctic, when an interview with an Inuk elder became something else entirely — a lesson in humility and deep listening she never expected. This session explores how that encounter changed how she performs journalism, and how she connects with others.
