Seit ihrem Eintritt in den türkischen Dienst der DW im Jahr 2017 hat sich Melis Yüksel auf Social Media und Videoproduktion spezialisiert. Im Jahr 2023 übernahm sie ihre derzeitige Position als Executive Producerin bei +90. Sie hat außerdem einen Master-Abschluss in Rechtswissenschaften der Universität Heidelberg.
