Ellen Heinrichs ist Gründerin des Bonn Institute. Die Journalistin ist international eine der profiliertesten Stimmen für zukunftsfähigen Journalismus und konstruktiven Dialog. 2025 wurde sie von der Jury des medium magazin mit einem Sonderpreis als „Journalistin des Jahres“ ausgezeichnet. Die Initiatorin des b° future festival setzt sie Impulse für einen Journalismus, der die Menschen in den Mittelpunkt stellt. Zuvor prägte sie bei der Deutschen Welle die digitale Transformation sowie den Aufbau der DW Akademie und setzte wichtige Impulse für Innovation und Kulturwandel im Journalismus. Ihre Laufbahn begann bei der Rheinischen Post und führte über Stationen bei internationalen Organisationen zur Deutschen Welle. Ellen Heinrichs war als bislang einzige Deutsche als Fellow am Constructive Institute in Dänemark und ist ausgebildete Mediatorin sowie Solutions Journalism Trainerin.
