Laura Postma (1984) ist leitende Forscherin im Bereich Medien und Journalismus am Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision, wo sie sich vor allem mit der Erforschung von Desinformation, der Auswirkung von Faktenüberprüfung und Medienkompetenz beschäftigt. Außerdem ist sie externe Doktorandin an der Universität Leiden, wo sie im Bereich internationaler Journalismus und Auslandskorrespondenz forscht. Laura hat 15 Jahre lang als freiberufliche Journalistin gearbeitet.

Aiming for fairness: Confronting bias in foreign reporting

Foreign reporting in German media focuses on a limited number of countries — recent studies confirm this. Events in the rest of the world go unnoticed.
