Sophia Krafft studied journalism, political science and English in Mainz and worked as a freelancer in print for many years during her studies. In 2012, she began to look at comments on the web: As part of her master's thesis, she investigated how user comments under online articles change the work and self-image of journalists. Afterwards, she immersed herself further and further into the world of Facebook, Instagram & Co. as a social media manager, among others in the press office of the University of Koblenz-Landau and Steigenberger Hotels AG. Since 2021, she has been responsible for the community management desk at SWR, where several thousand comments are moderated every day.
