Sandra Fiene is the press spokesperson for the European Commission's regional office in Bonn. She is passionate about Europe and the media – her studies and career have taken her to Canterbury (UK), Lille, Brussels, Geneva, Hamburg, Hanover, and Mainz. As a TV reporter and editor, she spent ten years working in the politics, business, and news departments for ARD and ZDF. She knows the “EU jungle” in Brussels both from a journalist's perspective and from its institutional side.
