Polo Türk heads German broadcaster rbb's funk supplier editorial department and the associated format development. From the beginning, Polo's focus has been on target groups that are otherwise rather underrepresented in public broadcasting: Black people, queer people and young women and girls. Since 2022, Polo has also been involved as part of the national board of the "Neue Deutsche Medienmacher" ("New German Media Makers").
