Miriam Walther is part of the founding team of Publix gGmbH, the newly emerging media house in Berlin-Neukölln for all those who do journalism, shape the public sphere and strengthen democracy. As a project manager, she supports the founding director in developing the areas of membership, programming and fundraising and their implementation. Previously, she spent four years as (co-)managing director at the Swiss media company Republik, and from the 24/25 season she will take over as co-director of the cultural institution Gessnerallee in Zurich. In 2021, the industry magazine Schweizer Journalist:in named Miriam Walther "Media Manager of the Year".
