Martina Monti is the Leading Editor for Southern Europe at The European Correspondent where she also serves as the Head of Media Partnership. Martina is interested in how knowledge turns into opinion, belief and bias and how that in turn steers collective action. Starting her career as a Junior Editor at EU&U, Martina's involvement grew as she contributed to various independent magazines across Europe. With a background in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics, she actively participated in EU programs such as Media Literacy for Democracy. Among her experiences, she was a finalist at the IPI Media Innovation Europe competition and represented the European Correspondent at the European Charlemagne Youth Prize in 2023.
