Luca Schmitt-Walz is a reporter, documentary host and producer from Leipzig. He stumbled into journalism five years ago and has been trying to make his way through format criteria, budget negotiations, dealing with industry giants and the power of "who you know" ever since. He regularly talks about this in the podcast Druckausgleich. Luca worked in front of and behind the camera for the Y-Kollektiv, Rabiat and the reportage format exactly (MDR), which he played a major role in developing.
