Lisa-Marie Eckardt is a research associate at TU Dortmund University. She works on the “VITraDes” research project, which focuses on transparent labeling of AI in journalism. Previously, she worked as a news and data journalist for publications including "Die Zeit", "Der Spiegel", and "ARD". She completed a traineeship at the dapd news agency and pursued further training in investigative data journalism and machine learning at Columbia University. She has also been involved in projects on algorithmic accountability reporting and fact-checking.
