Communicating nature and environmental issues is the focus of Alexandra Hostert's work. She enjoys telling stories with depth and perspective, whether in film, audio and text, live on air or at events. As Head of Communications and Press, she works at the Bonn site of the Leibniz Institute for Biodiversity Change Analysis. Her research on international nature conservation has taken her to numerous countries, resulting in documentaries, reports, features and podcasts. She passes on her experience as a lecturer to young journalists, for example. As a member of the association ‘WPK – Die Wissenschaftsjournalisten’ (WPK – Science Journalists), she is committed to innovative and sustainable science journalism.
