Listening is a core value in journalism. But what does that actually feel like—for the audience? In this session, we reverse roles. The audience steps into a live experience where you personally feel the impact of both good and poor listening. Not through theory or hindsight examples, but in the moment itself: when do you feel taken seriously, and when do you disengage? Expect an interactive format that challenges you as a journalist to respond differently than you’re used to. The outcome isn’t fixed—it emerges in the room. By the end, one thing is certain: you will have felt what listening behavior does to trust and connection—and which small choices make the difference. Suitable for journalists and editorial teams who value listening and want to experience how to make it tangible. This session is organized by EenVandaag, which has over three years of experience with an interaction team that is in daily contact with the audience.
