Yazgülü Zeybek studied European Political Economy at the London School of Economics and worked as a political scientist at the University of Wuppertal. She served as a member of the Wuppertal City Council from 2017 to 2022, most recently as Chair of the Council Group. Since 2022, she has been co-chair of the GRÜNEN NRW alongside Tim Achtermeyer.
