Analyst and researcher with 5 years of experience across diverse areas of public policy, including media development, social cohesion (housing and social services), national identity, justice, and institutional checks and balances. Experienced the full-cycle process of research and analytics, M&E, project management, and delivering strategic recommendations for governments and international organizations. The research portfolio includes News Deserts in Ukraine Research, Annual Reports on the State of Local News in Ukraine, Research on the Revitalisation of the Ukrainian Media System in the Local and Regional Space for the GMF, and Country Report for BCME with Gap Analysis of the Independent Media Skills and Needs in the Eastern Partnership. Valeriia holds an M.A. in Public Policy and Governance from the Kyiv School of Economics and a B.A. in International Law from the Institute of International Relations.
