Dr. Ulrike Heine holds a doctorate in cultural and visual studies. In 2019, her book, Fotografische Bilder des Klimawandels: Strategies and Visual Formulas, was published by Campus Verlag. She has worked as a curator in museums in the USA and Germany at the intersection of science, technology, and art. She currently heads the office of the German Committee of the UN Ocean Decade (ODK), which is based at the GEOMAR Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research Kiel.
