Susanne Althoff is the Deputy Editor-in-Chief and Head of the Business Department at the news channel ntv. She began her journalistic career in 1996 at a local radio station. In 2006, she joined ntv, working in various journalistic roles. In 2013, she specialised in business journalism, serving as a reporter at the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and editor-in-charge of the programme Telebörse. From 2020 to 2024, she led the business section at RTL News' central editorial office. She returned to ntv in 2024, focusing on further developing financial and business content and the digital transformation of news.
