Simone Rödder is a junior professor of sociology specialising in science studies at the University of Hamburg. Her current research focuses on climate futures, climate movements, and the mediatisation and politicisation of expertise. From October 2025, she will lead the Centre for Knowledge Transfer at the Leibniz Institute for the Analysis of Biodiversity Change (LIB) in Bonn and Hamburg.
