Sarah Thust studied journalism and psychology at the University of Leipzig. She then worked for three years as a freelance reporter in Cambodia, for clients such as the German Press Agency dpa and the English-language daily newspaper Phnom Penh Post. She returned to Germany at the end of 2013. As a freelance journalist she specializes in fact-checking and the Arab countries, among others for T-Online and dpa. She has been working for CORRECTIV.Faktencheck since July 2020.
