Stephan Ferdinand is a Professor of Journalism Studies in the "Digital and Media Business" degree programme at Hochschule der Medien Stuttgart (HdM). He previously worked as an editorial director at SWR. Ferdinand founded and heads the Institut für Moderation (imo) and the Steinbeis Transfer Centre for Audiovisual Media at HdM. He also founded the Stuttgart Moderation Award for the imo. Additionally, he moderates and produces the educational podcast SPRICH:STUTTGART.
