Patrick Bahners, born in 1967, studied History and Philosophy in Bonn and Oxford. In 1989, he joined the arts and culture section of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. From Cologne, he reports on cultural matters in North Rhine-Westphalia and oversees the weekly "Geisteswissenschaften" section. He has published several books, the most recent being "Kampagne in Deutschland. Bénédicte Savoy und der Streit um die Raubkunst" (zu Klampen, 2023).
