Özden Terli has been an editor and weather anchor on Germany's ZDF TV channel since 2013 and a reporter for ZDFheute.de. In 2021 he received the UmweltMedienpreis der Deutschen Umwelthilfe (Environment in Media prize awarded by Environmental Action Germany) for "TV and Online". He started his career at Pro7/Sat.1's wetter.com, while studying meteorology and astrophysics at the Free University Berlin. On air and in commentaries he often addresses the consequences of anthropogenic climate change.
