Born in Bonn, bred by an Italian mother and a Canadian father, Nicholas Mockridge studied film in Denmark and theatre directing in Berlin. Active as stage & television director for over 15 years. Worked at institutions such as Bayreuth Opera Festival, Schaubühne Berlin, Halle am Berghain and Galerie Deschler. After a spell as staff director for Tele 5, Nicholas took over operations as Artistic Director/ General Manager of Springmaus Improvisationstheater, the first professional improvisational theatre company in Germany, founded by his father Bill Mockridge in 1983. Nicholas Mockridge also works as a theatre coach, voice actor and speaker for clients such as Kunsthaus München, Kinderhilfswerk, VW and Deutsches Ministerium des Inneren.
