Maximilian Handl is a journalist and fact-checking expert. Among other things, he works for the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation (ORF). He is a co-founder of the fact-checking platform Factjack.org and focuses on digital disinformation, OSINT, and content verification. A particular focus of his journalistic and academic work is on Brazil and Latin America, where he regularly conducts research and reports on disinformation, elections, and digital political communication.
