Maris Hellrand is the euro|topics correspondent in Estonia. She is a multilingual freelance journalist and producer. Her work spans TV, radio, documentary, text. She has been working as a freelance correspondent for several international media outlets covering topics from Estonia: ARD, Arte TV, ZDF, DW, Agence France Press, Associated Press, BBC, Sveriges Radio, France 24 and many others. She also is frequently invited to provide media training to non-governmental or public sector organisations and to participate in panel discussions on a wide variety of topics related to media, disinformation, propaganda and digitalization. She is a small shareholder of a local island newspaper in Estonia, as a board member responsible for developing strategy.
