Since June 1, 2024, Mandy Schamber has been a member of the management team at ferret go GmbH. The market leader in AI-supported comment moderation assists publishers and associations in digital community building by automatically eliminating hate and spam, thereby fostering better dialogues on social media. Since 2023, ferret go has also been helping to sustainably build and scale user involvement on digital publishing platforms with its engagement platform, engagently.
Additionally, Schamber has been the Lead Manager of Social Media at dfv Mediengruppe in Frankfurt since 2021. In this role, she is responsible for expanding social media strategy, increasing reach, and community building.
Moreover, she is a trainer at the Akademie der Deutschen Medien in Munich and an experienced podcaster. In 2022, she produced the podcast Newsfluence! in collaboration with Eva-Maria Schmidt, Editor-in-Chief of the trade newspaper HORIZONT (dfv Mediengruppe). Building on this, Schamber published the book Newsfluence! in 2023, a guide for successful journalism on social media.
