Kübra Gümüşay is an award-winning writer from Germany and author of the book Speaking and Being, which examines how language dictates politics and shapes the way we think. In 2018, Forbes Magazine selected her as one of "30 under 30" in Europe in Media and Marketing. She is also the founder of eeden, a feminist co-creation space in Hamburg and and future_s, a feminist research and advocacy organization. She's a member of the Bonn Institute's Board of Trustees.
