Katrin Pinetzki straddles the line between public relations and journalism. For the past eleven years, she has served as a spokesperson for the city of Dortmund and now heads the city’s press office. She also writes books and works as a cultural journalist. After completing her journalism degree in Dortmund, she worked for many years as a staff and freelance editor for daily newspapers, news agencies, and magazines, as well as a project manager at a media consulting firm. Katrin Pinetzki studied journalism and political science at TU Dortmund University and remains affiliated with the Institute of Journalism.
