Kai Heddergott has been working at the intersection of public relations and journalism for more than 30 years. As a freelance communications consultant, he supports institutions and companies in modernizing their communications, always with a particular focus on digital media. As a lecturer, he teaches the skills required for digital communication to professionals and others interested in the field at several continuing education institutions. Since 2023, he has been the lead lecturer for the certificate course KI-Manager/in (IHK), which will have had around 450 graduates by autumn 2026. In 2026, he co-authored the professional handbook Besser texten mit Kopf und KI: Der Leitfaden für das Neue Schreiben with Dominik Ruisinger.
