Josefine earned a master’s degree in architecture from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and a bachelor’s degree in digital games from the Cologne Game Lab.
In her projects, she brings historical and socially relevant topics to life in a playful way: from medieval stained glass in the game “Saga of Sins” (2023) to human rights in the serious game “Starlight Stadium” (Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, 2024).
To actively help shape social change, Elena and Josefine founded Studio Zweisiedlerkrebs in late 2024. The studio develops games and immersive media formats for political, historical, and cultural discourse.
Studio Zweisiedlerkrebs is currently working on the digital multiplayer game “Merkmal: Radikal,” which is funded by the Film- und Medienstiftung NRW and the Landesanstalt für Medien NRW and aims to raise awareness among young people about far-right strategies on social media.
