Jonas Baeck, born in 1981 in Cologne, graduated in 2007 from the Folkwang University of the Arts in Bochum with a degree in acting. Since then, his professional career has included engagements at various German theaters as well as roles in several television series and feature films. In addition, he has established himself as an audiobook narrator and regularly records segments for WDR, ARTE, and DLF. In 2019, he published his first book, When the Sun Comes Out, I Ride Without Money – Traveling to Dublin by Scooter , with Kiepenheuer & Witsch. Since 2025, he has been attending further training as a theater educator at Latibul in Cologne. He is currently developing a play together with the theater collective The Beautiful Minds and young people from Bonn, centered on the topic of fake news and the question: How many truths are there in a world without trust? The play will premiere at Theater im Ballsaal in Bonn in March 2027.
