Jana works at the "Kontext Club" of the "Mediengruppe Wiener Zeitung" and is pursuing a PhD at the University of Graz. Previously, she worked in adult education for several years and now also teaches at the University of Vienna. Together with Alexandra Borchardt, she published the study "Knapp daneben ist auch vorbei – Eine qualitative Studie zu Gen Z und Journalismus in Österreich" in April 2026.
