Galika Ivanov has been working at the social-ecological GLS Bank in Bochum since 2022. She serves as a spokesperson and occasionally coordinates the communications department. Her core interests lie in money, emotions, and society. She sees money as a medium that can connect people rather than divide them.
Previously, she spent eight years as an editor at Handelsblatt, where she completed a traineeship specializing in business and financial journalism. Her journalistic journey began at the age of 14 as a freelance reporter for NRZ in Mülheim an der Ruhr. Alongside her studies, she also worked freelance for WDR, Spiegel.de, university radio stations, and various online platforms.
Galika Ivanov holds a master’s degree in political science with a minor in economic and social psychology. In her free time, she occasionally performs on stage as a stand-up comedian.
