Freddie Schürheck is a presenter, podcaster, and reporter. She has been part of the permanent presentation team at 1LIVE/WDR since 2013. She has been nominated three times for the German Radio Award, including for the Germany-wide program “Bundestagswahl live aus Berlin” (Federal Election Live from Berlin). Since 2024, she has been hosting the program “1LIVE 396,” which aims to broadcast five hours every Saturday from a different one of the 396 locations in North Rhine-Westphalia and introduce it to listeners. Here, listeners act as the “show's navigation system,” suggesting locations and topics that are presented and discussed live on air. Freddie Schürheck also hosts the podcast “Sportschau F,” in which she interviews inspiring women from the world of sports. Freddie also regularly appears on camera for ARD as the host of the Düsseldorf Rose Monday parade and has been the commentator for “1LIVE Krone” since 2015.
