Francisca Valenzuela is a journalist and Master’s student in Political Communication at the University of Chile. She is part of the Ciudadanía Inteligente team, a Latin American organization that works to build more open, inclusive, and transparent democracies. In her role, she drives initiatives that encourage citizen participation in institutions and organizations, strengthen civil society articulation, and promote accountability and access to public information. She has also supported communication campaigns aimed at boosting citizen involvement in Chile’s constitutional process, as well as regional networks that amplify the voice of civil society in democratic life.
