Felix Günther works at the WDR Innovation Hub, where he is primarily involved in future and trend research as an innovation manager. Always driven by the question: Is there another way? As a doctoral student and research assistant at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg, he initially researched the portrayal of war reporters on German television. After a traineeship as an “Information Specialist” in the WDR archive, he ended up as a researcher and verifier for current news in the newsroom. In his current role at the WDR Innovation Hub, he focuses on the strategic development of public service broadcasting, with the aim of “understanding the day after tomorrow in order to remain relevant tomorrow”.
