Dr. Bernward Loheide is the editor-in-chief of the Katholische Nachrichten-Agentur (KNA). After studying Catholic theology, German, and philosophy in Münster and Tübingen, he began his journalistic career in 1996. He worked for dpa for many years, including as head of the dpa regional office in Bavaria. In Munich, he taught at the Institute for the Promotion of Young Journalists. Since 2022, he has been leading KNA through the digital transformation.
