Dilara Yaves is an editor on the digital team of WDR COSMO and leads the Instagram page. She studied politics, sociology, and media studies in Düsseldorf and Milan, specializing in prejudice research, xenophobia, and Islamophobia.
She became involved in local politics early on and completed internships, including one in the Düsseldorf state parliament. She later transitioned to journalism to report on social issues. She has worked on programs such as Kölner Treff and Sandra Maischberger. Her goal is to give a voice to those who are otherwise not heard.
