Christian Weihe has been Legal Counsel and Deputy Managing Director of the German Journalists’ Association in North Rhine-Westphalia (DJV-NRW) for many years, making him a point of contact for DJV members in NRW on issues relating to media law and freedom of the press. Through his practical experience, he is familiar with the growing competition between municipal communications and independent media, as well as the legal boundaries of such communications.
