Axel Voss (CDU) has been a member of the European Parliament since 2009. He is a member and coordinator/spokesperson for the EPP Group in the Committee on Legal Affairs (JURI), as well as an deputy member of the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice, and Home Affairs (LIBE) and the Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection (IMCO). His areas of expertise include artificial intelligence (AI), digital policy, European data protection and European copyright law. During this legislative term, he is the EPP’s rapporteur for the AI Omnibus and the new European company form “EU Inc.”
