As a journalist – both in front of and behind the camera – Anna Breithausen explores what holds societies together and what forces might threaten that cohesion. While pursuing her bachelor’s degree in theater studies and audiovisual journalism in Mainz, she gained her first journalistic experience at a production company. She then worked in Bremen as a journalist for a documentary project, the Y-Kollektiv, and in Cologne as a junior editor at ZDF Magazin Royale. Most recently, she completed a master’s degree in sociology in Bonn to gain an academic perspective on social cohesion. At the Bonn Institute, she supports the Dialogue Format team and works constructively at the intersection of social cohesion, journalism, and a diversity of perspectives.
