Anette researches corruption and abuses in the healthcare system, social inequality and problematic constellations in the labour market, and abuse of power. She has been deputy editor-in-chief of CORRECTIV since 2023. Previously, she headed the international investigative network at Axel Springer and the investigative team at Die Welt. She has turned her research into several non-fiction books, adapted it for TV films and podcasts, and has often reported on the results of her research on talk shows – and has enjoyed discussing them with responsible politicians and association officials. Anette studied economics. In recent years, she has repeatedly taught at journalism schools and is a board member of the Reporter:innenforum – an association of reporters for reporters that aims to make journalism even better.
