Andy Peñafuerte III is a freelance multimedia journalist. He is a news stringer for GMA Integrated News (Philippines) and an editorial assistant for Transitions Media’s Solutions Journalism Europe project (Czechia). His work on breaking news events, the environment, digital media, economy, and education has also appeared in Al Jazeera English, the European Journalism Observatory, Business Mirror, the Beijinger, and more. Andy was part of a Filipino news team that won the George Foster Peabody Award for Best News Coverage in 2014.
