Hi, I’m Aljosha (he/him) – a queer vegan doctor, author, podcaster, YouTuber, and one of the Fab Five on Queer Eye Germany on Netflix. In 2023, we received the Grimme Award in the Entertainment category for the show. I became known through the YouTube channel Vegan ist ungesund, one of the largest vegan channels in the German-speaking world. In May 2026, my first book, Gut wird’s hier nicht mehr, aber besser, was published and went straight onto the SPIEGEL bestseller list. Today, I advocate for social justice with a lot of heart, humor, and conviction. Issues such as veganism, mental health, anti-racism, and equality are particularly important to me. Alongside my work as a content creator, I continue to work part-time as a specialist in anesthesiology and also draw on my experience from everyday clinical practice in my educational work. Honest, empathetic, and direct communication is always at the heart of what I do, both online and offline.
