A journalist, podcaster and moderator, Alex is fascinated by the challenge of presenting complex topics in a way that reaches the public in times of digital change. After studying media and cultural studies in Düsseldorf, he spent multiple years working at German business outlets Handelsblatt and WirtschaftsWoche, where he helped develop and produce multiple podcasts. He completed journalism training at the Holtzbrink School of Journalism and worked as a podcast host and editor with a special focus on the security and defense industry. Alex enjoys exchanging ideas with festival guests from around the world about how journalism can progress while remaining relevant and trustworthy.
