CO2mmitted Media is a non-profit association founded in 2023. The project was conceived and developed by journalists Aileen Hohnstein, Lucia de Paulis, Katja Richter, Olivia Samnick, and Florian Sturm.
We believe that the media industry's sustainability strategies have not yet sufficiently taken into account the emissions impact of content production, especially from freelancers. That's why we founded CO2mmitted Media. Our goal is climate protection that goes beyond traditional greenhouse gas offsetting.
