Achim Pollmeier studied sociology in Bielefeld and journalism in Dortmund. During and after his studies, he worked as a freelance journalist for various newspapers and completed an internship at WDR. He then returned to freelance journalism and writing for various political, economic, and scientific magazines at ARD, ZDF, and the regional public channels. From 2007, he worked as an editor at WDR for the business magazines “markt” and “plusminus.” Achim Pollmeier has been a member of the MONITOR editorial team since 2010.
