Journalist Safety in the Age of Drones. Lessons from Ukraine.

With Diana Butsko, Iryna Zemlyana, Oksana Romaniuk und Patrick Enssle

The discussion will focus on how frontline reporting in Ukraine has changed under the constant threat of FPV drones, where “PRESS” markings no longer ensure protection. Participants will share first-hand experiences and reflect on how these risks have drastically limited journalists’ ability to document and show the reality of war.
