Samira Kossebau was born in Dortmund in 1997. In 2004, she moved to Hamburg, where she gained her first theatre experience after graduating from high school at the Thalia Theater, Schauspielhaus Hamburg, and Ernst Deutsch Theater. In September 2021, she began studying acting at the MUK – Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität der Stadt Wien, graduating in summer 2025. During her studies, she appeared as Till Eulenspiegel in Eulenspiegel Till Freedom at Dschungel Wien, as Bo in Der Herr der Diebe at Kasino am Burgtheater, and as Maria in Im Glashäusl at Schauspielhaus Wien, among other roles. Since graduating, she has been working as a freelance actress in Vienna. In addition to readings with Dossier at Schauspielhaus Wien and at festivals, her recent work includes Kabale und Liebe at the Burgtheater Vestibül, the role of Perpetua in the musical Renzo und Lucia at Stadttheater Mödling, as well as film and television productions.
