Philipp Keßler has been Editor-in-Chief of the Mediengruppe Offenbach-Post since 2024. His journalistic interests focus primarily on local politics and business in the region, as well as the impact of legislation at the state, federal, and European Union levels on local communities.
Born in Gießen, he studied history, political science, sociology, and social sciences at Justus Liebig University Giessen, as well as international studies, peace and conflict research at Goethe University Frankfurt and TU Darmstadt. After completing his journalism traineeship at Mittelhessische Druck- und Verlagshaus GmbH & Co. KG, he initially worked as a sports editor for the Gießener Allgemeine Zeitung and the Wetterauer Zeitung before serving as interim newsroom editor for the Usinger Anzeiger.
In 2022, he joined the Mediengruppe Offenbach-Post as Deputy Editor-in-Chief and has led its newsroom as Editor-in-Chief since the beginning of 2024.
